This gorgeous basket was handwoven with pine needles and cotton thread in a striking design. The beautiful blues and pale pink would be perfect in any kitchen or in any room of your home. The basket would make a great set with our matching placemats and table center. The basket measures 11'' across the top and 6.5'' on the base. It's 3.5'' tall.

This fair trade Guatemalan basket is handmade by a group of women artisans in the mountains trying to sustain their families. The artisan group was originally founded after the civil war by war widows and orphans as a way to support themselves. The group started out by making woven bracelets, and now makes beautiful pine needle baskets. Purchase of this product helps the artisans to support their families and Sharing the Dream to support our programming in Guatemala.
