Cool Blues Scarf
This Cool Blues Scarf has layers of vibrant shades of blue. The scarf features textured stripes and checkers going horizontally on the scarf to give the scarf depth, as well as vertical stripes in four shades of blue. This super-soft scarf is made from a rayon cotton blend, and is great for fall or winter! This fair trade scarf was handwoven in Guatemala using the traditional backstrap loom.
This scarf is also available in shades of blue and green.
This fair trade scarf was created by La Estrella, a group of eight Kaqchiquel Mayan weavers from the rural community of ChuaCruz, Guatemala. The artisan group was formed in the early 1980's in order to support the widows who lost their husbands during the Civil War. They work on backstrap & foot looms. With the purchase of this item, you are helping the women in this cooperative to support their families.
