This beautiful weaving would be perfect as a placemat or a table center. Woven using the traditional backstrap loom and 100% cotton thread, the placemat is cream colored with accent stripes down the side. Placemat measures approximately 14" wide by 18" long.
This beautiful centerpiece was woven on a backstrap loom by a group of 15 weavers called Las Flores de Peña Blanca (The Flowers of Peña Blanca). The women have been weaving for many years and formed together as a group so that they could help find markets for their products and help provide for their families.
