These wonderfully crafted salad spoons will be a beautiful addition to your kitchen for any meal. The salad hands are hand-carved using scraps of the tropical hardwood collected from local carpenters. Each set is unique due to the nature of the wood used in the piece.
This fair trade item was handcrafted by the group, The Spoonmakers of Peten. They started in 2002 with 4 families and have now expanded to a cooperative of 11 families. Many of the members of the group are health promoters in their communities and a percentage of their sales is donated to health programs.
