Margarita Spoons - Multiple types of wood!
This long-handled spoon is great for mixing up a pitcher of margaritas, sampling food from a cooking pot, and much more! Long and skinny, this spoon measures approximately 10" in length, and is made from scraps of three types of wood- teak, coffee, and amaranth.
This fair trade Guatemalan spoon is hand-carved by a group of young men artisans from San Lucas Toliman called Los Cuchareros. All of their spoons are made entirely by hand using tools such as machetes, mallets, and wood carving knives, and the wood used by this group is collected, not harvested. The spoons are finished with beeswax so that they are food-safe. The sales of this handmade product helps to support the artisans’ families, as well as a group of elders in the community of San Lucas Toliman.
