This tall oval basket is multi-functional! This oval shaped basket is made from palm leaf in three naturally occurring colors. The base is white palm and there are brown and green vertical stripes. The basket measures approximately 7" in length, 6" in width, and 6" in height. It would make a great accent piece or spoon holder.
This fair trade basket is handmade by Amasaja, a group of more than 50 women artisans from two villages close to Chiquimula, Guatemala who use palm and coconut leaves to weave baskets. The sale of this product helps the artisans to support their families and supports Sharing the Dream's programming in Guatemala.
