These delicate Double Hoop Earrings with Hanging Bead are made from silved colored aluminum wire twisted into a small hoop resting on top of a larger hoop. Inside the larger hoop hangs a small glass bead and a square-shaped orange and turquoise glass bead. The earrings measure approximately 2 1/4" in length including the hook and 1" in width at the widest point.
This fair trade item is handmade by the Elder Center Bead Group, a group of young artisans in Santiago Atitlan, who earn a fair wage for their work. The profits from this product go to the Elder Center, which provides a place of community, meals, and healthcare services for 65 elders in Guatemala.
