This decorative Large Spoon with Large Heart would look great hanging on your kitchen or dining room wall. The spoon has a large heart at the end of the handle, and the handle twists down to the bowl of the spoon. A hole on the top of the heart makes it easy to hang, and the back is flat so that it lays flat. The spoons measure 12" in length and are made from scraps of wood found on the skirt of the Toliman Volcano in San Lucas Toliman, Guatemala.

This spoon was handmade by an artisan group from San Lucas Toliman called Nueva Vida, or New Life. Nueva Vida is made up of young people who use the profits from the sales of the spoons to pay for their education. The sale of this product also supports community projects, such as providing school supplies to children from low-resource families. The spoons are hand-carved from wood scraps and are finished with beeswax for a food-safe product.
