This fair trade Guatemalan basket is handmade from pine needles by a group of women artisans in the mountains who are working to sustain their families. The artisan group was originally founded after the civil war by widows and orphans as a way to support themselves. They began with woven bracelets and now craft these beautiful pine needle baskets. Your purchase helps these artisans support their families and allows Sharing the Dream to continue our programming in Guatemala.
