This colorful nativity is hand-painted, and the detail will amaze you! The nativity includes three pieces: Mary, Joseph, and baby Jesus. The pieces are painted to resemble the traditional Guatemalan clothing, Traje, in red and white stripes with purple accents.
The Mary and Joseph pieces measure approximately 2 1/2" high and 1 1/4 in diameter at the base. The baby Jesus piece measures approximately 1 1/4" in diameter and 1" in height.
This fair trade ornament is created by an artist from Antigua, Guatemala. He uses clay to make unique ceramics items that are painted entirely by hand. The sale of his products helps him to provide for his family.
