The Salad Spoon & Fork Set is something everyone needs! This is perfect for your salads or anything you need to toss. The spoon and fork are hand-carved using cast-off pieces of wood purchased from carpentry shops or collected in the jungle. The wood is finished in beeswax and are food-safe. They are made entirely by hand with no power tools. Each set is unique due to the piece of wood used to make the product.
- The spoon and fork are approximately 11” long.
This fair trade item was handcrafted by the group, The Spoonmakers of Peten. They started in 2002 with 4 families and have now expanded to a cooperative of 11 families. Many of the members of the group are health promoters in their communities and a percentage of their sales is donated to health programs.
