This unique Stacked Weave Basket is handmade from palm leaves in brown and white. The basket measures approximately 6 1/2" in diameter and 3 1/2" in height. It would be perfect as a bread basket to hold dinner rolls, as a small planter, or as an accent on a table or shelf. It is artistically crafted by artisans in Guatemala.
This fair trade basket is handmade by Amasaja, a group of more than 50 women artisans from two villages close to Chiquimula, Guatemala who use palm and coconut leaves to weave baskets. The sale of this product helps the artisans to support their families and supports Sharing the Dream's programming in Guatemala.
