Guatemalan Women Coffee Painting
This unique painting features four women in traje (traditional Guatemalan outfits) with long braids that drape down their backs. The painting is stretched on canvas and is painted with coffee and coffee grounds, giving it a unique texture. It measure 9"x11".
This fair trade painting was painted by an artist in Santiago Atitlan using coffee grounds recycled from a local coffee shop. Two artists work together to operate a studio and gallery. By running their own gallery, the artists can set their own prices for their art, allowing them to better support their families.
