Ammid - nine women’s groups made up of indigenous women from the Mam culture who live in the Comitancillo area of Guatemala

AMO - Based in an area which suffered extreme draught, this association now promotes the cultivation of Maguey, a cactus plant that the women use to make woven items.

Casa Guatemala - an orphanage that cares for the nurturing, health and education of over 250 children

Colores de Guatemala - Based in the Cobán and Quetzaltenango regions, these women produce a range of crocheted and woven products of the highest quality.

COPAVIC - cooperative based in the community of Cantel which produces recycled glass products

Creaciones Chonita - a small business employing 45 women full time and 35 women part time in Santiago, a town on the coast of Lake Atitlan

Candle Group - 9 women who live in Tierra Nueva 1, a very poor part of Guatemala City, and have decided to come together to learn some skills

El Bongo - a town of about 700 people in the the jungle in the east central area of Guatemala

El Bosque - cooperative was founded to preserve the natural Pine forests of the area around San Pedro Pinula

Flor del Campo - A member of Samajel Bátz,´(weaver of thread) a conglomeration of nine groups spread throughout the highlands. 

Foundations for Education - An organization that provides scholarships to Guatemalan Maya youth.

Humberto - a highly skilled craftsman who makes the traditional wooden carved ornaments which are characteristic of Santiago Atitlán.

Maya Traditions - comprised of four weaving groups situated near and around the lake of Atitlán and the town of Chichicastenango. 

Mayan Hands - ten different groups (about 225 women) who live in small villages in the highlands of Guatemala

Ruth y Nohemi - a group of 20 widows in Chontola, a Quiche Indian village in the highlands of Guatemala

UPAVIM - a group of approximately 66 women who live in the marginalized communities of Ls Esperanza, El Mezquital and Villa Lobos I and II, in Zone 12 of Guatemala City
