AMMID

AMMID’s nine women’s groups are indigenous women from the Mam culture who live in the Comitancillo area of Guatemala.

Creaciones Chonita is a small business employing 45 women fulltime and 35 women parttime in Santiago, a town on the coast of Lake Atitlan.

Mayan Hands works with ten different groups (about 225 women) who live in small villages in the highlands of Guatemala.

Ruth y Nohemi

Ruth y Nohemi is a group of 20 widows in Chontola, a Quiche Indian village in the highlands of Guatemala.

UPAVIM

UPAVIM is a group of approximately 66 women who live in the marginalized communities of Ls Esperanza, El Mezquital and Villa Lobos I and II, in Zone 12 of Guatemala City.
