Home Trip Journals Partners About Us Sponsorships   COPAVIC This cooperative is based in the community of Cantel, near Quetzaltenango   was founded in 1976 to create an income during the war for young people in the region.  The factory produces recycled glass products which are sold by Fair Trade organizations throughout the world now.  The glass is hand blown, which is quite an event to see being done.
